Question:
Is it possible to change the default remote Agent installation directory?

Answer:
It’s only possible to select the destination directory when Agent is installed locally or via Active Directory Group Policy. The folder can not be selected when you install Agent remotely from Activity Monitor.

1. Installing locally. Run amagent.exe installer file on the remote computer locally. You will have a chance to select destination folder for installation.

2. Installing via Group Policy. Open  Agent-install-script.vbs file in Notepad and add /DIR="x:\dirname"
 command line parameter to amagent.exe. For detailed instructions of installation in Active Directory using Group Policy read Help in Activity Monitor under How To->Install Agent in Domain via Active Directory
